AnnaMaria DeSalva is global chairman and CEO of Hill+Knowlton (H+K) Strategies, one of the world’s leading strategic communications firms, with more than 70 offices across some 40 markets globally. She is also an executive committee member of parent company WPP PLC, the world’s largest marketing services company. Prior to H+K, Ms. DeSalva served as chief communications officer at DuPont, and subsequently as senior adviser to the CEO of DowDuPont, as he advanced the separation and launch of new independent public companies. Before DuPont, she was head of corporate affairs for biopharmaceutical innovation at Pfizer, an adviser to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and head of the global health care practice of Hill+Knowlton. Earlier, at Bristol Myers Squibb, she led global public affairs for the oncology business and served as director of the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation. Ms. DeSalva is a member of the board of directors of RXO, where she chairs the nominating, governance, and sustainability committee. She previously served as vice chairman of the board of XPO Logistics, where she completed more than five years of board service in November 2022 when XPO spun out RXO. In 2022, she completed seven years on the board of governors of Argonne National Laboratory of the U.S. Department of Energy. In December 2022, Governor Youngkin of Virginia appointed her to the board of visitors of William & Mary, her alma mater. Ms. DeSalva is a trustee of the Committee for Economic Development of the Conference Board and a member of The Economic Club of NY.
