Diane Hoskins is one of two co-CEOs of Gensler, the world’s leading architecture and design firm. Since 2005, she and Co-CEO Andy Cohen have exemplified collaborative leadership, overseeing both the long-term strategy and day-to-day operations of the global practice known for its award-winning design innovation and research. Under their guidance, Gensler has organically grown to become the largest and most influential firm in the field, with more than 6,000 people networked across 53 offices, serving more than 4,000 clients in 140 countries. Ms. Hoskins advocates for the power of design to build resilient communities and improve lives around the world. With Mr. Cohen, she established the Gensler Research Institute, which conducts research related to sustainability, cities, human experience, and more. The two leaders also launched Gensler’s Cities Climate Challenge—the firm’s commitment to eliminating all net carbon emissions from its work by 2030. As a design leader with a global perspective, Ms. Hoskins has been a featured speaker at the UN’s Climate Change Conference, Habitat Assembly, and Climate Action Summit. She is a member of the board of directors of Boston Properties and a trustee of The MIT Corporation. She was also recently appointed global chair of the Urban Land Institute, the world’s preeminent real estate and land use organization. Ms. Hoskins is a fellow of the American Institute of Architects and a regent of the American Architectural Foundation. She graduated from MIT and holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
