Doug Sieg serves as CEO and managing partner of Lord Abbett. As the 10th managing partner in the firm’s 93-year history, he is responsible for leading the strategic transformation of the organization in pursuit of its vision to be the world’s most respected asset manager. In overseeing Lord Abbett, Sieg is focused on expanding the firm’s investment offerings in the U.S. retail, institutional, and global markets—and driving growth. Throughout his 26-year career at Lord Abbett, Sieg has provided enterprise leadership and guidance across every area of the organization, with a particular focus on upholding the firm’s legacy of leadership and driving its spirit of innovation. Prior to his current role, he headed client services and product development, and was deeply involved in shaping the firm’s ongoing global expansion. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1992. Sieg earned a BS degree in business from The Pennsylvania State University. He serves on the board of governors and as an executive committee member of the Investment Company Institute, as well as a member of the boards of several philanthropic organizations. He has been recognized as an Ally of the Year by the Women in Asset Management Summit and Awards series.
