Krishnan Rajagopalan is president and CEO of Heidrick & Struggles, a global leadership advisory firm. He serves on the board of directors of Heidrick & Struggles and the U.S.-China Business Council. Mr. Rajagopalan has more than 20 years of experience in C-suite and board level searches, and he advises clients regularly on leadership succession, organizational transformation, governance, and culture. He is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, both for the firm’s employees and its clients. Heidrick & Struggles was the first executive search and leadership advisory firm to pledge that on an annual basis at least half of its cumulative initial slates of board candidates presented to clients will be diverse. The firm also partners with organizations like Paradigm for Parity and the 30% Club’s Future Female Directors program. Mr. Rajagopalan earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds MS and BS degrees in engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He is a recipient the Johns Hopkins University Distinguished Alumnus Award.
